Hello everyone! I survived my very first relay race, however barely. It was the most legendary experience I’ve ever been on as well as I liked it!

Each leg of the race was extremely different so I’m going to publish each one individually. (I published about my very first leg in my previous post, however it was from the van as well as I want to keep in mind all of it here.)

After we left the begin van 2 relaxed as well as waited for our Camiseta Selección de fútbol de Polonia turn.

I passed one woman going up the huge hill (she stopped to walk), however I didn’t pass anyone else the entire race. I’m not competitive with this stuff at all, however it does bum me out that I truly ran as quick as I might as well as didn’t pass anyone. Then, other women in the van would surface their race as well as say, “I got 3 road kills!”.

I was only passed by males as well as they were super quick so I don’t feel poor about it. But, at the time I believed I was doing something wrong to not pass anyone.

I was still pumped after, however understood I needed to refuel since the journey was only 1/3 over. I had an apple right after, however desired something with the great carbs to protein ratio. (Where’s chocolate milk when you  requirement it?!)

After my leg we headed to the next shift area as well as I got nekkid in the back of a van. Luckily, it was our van as well as I was solo.

I brought infant wipes for a quick wipe down, however I’m quite sure I still smelled like a sweaty pair of boxer shorts some guy failed to remember about in his trunk in August.

A great deal of the shift areas had bake sales or other food for purchase.

Well, this ended up being the perfect publish run stop for me since they had Chobani! The protein / carb combo I was needing! Don’t mind the attractive stretching in the background. The weekend got a great deal more inappropriate from here, however those stories stay in the van.

Our last runner was Ashley from healthy happier Bear. She had the most gorgeous run!

We were done around 8pm as well as after our last runner we went to eat dinner. We ended up at a random Italian restaurant that I would not recommend. The food was not great as well as I’m quite sure that was the culprit for our tummy issues the next day.

I wascraving a huge turkey sandwich, however they didn’t have anything like that. I settled on tuna as well as stole a few bites of Ashley’s pasta.

There were a great deal of issues with our order as well as Theodora was told to push off the meatballs on her pasta if she ordered it without. however we were so tired we just ate it.

After dinner we headed to get some sleep, which wasn’t comfortable or easy. The shift car parking great deal was loud as well as we didn’t bring sleeping bags so we squished in the car. I basically tossed as well as turned for 2 hours as well as then it was time for Tina to get prepared for leg #2.
